Essential Oils for Grounding

Our daily lives and the stress of it all can sometimes leave us disconnected and lost. If you need a dose of grounding, why not let essential oils help you out?

Aromas that balance & ground

Grounding essential oils include any aromas reminiscent of nature: wood, tree leaves or resins. Inhaling the following scents helps center your mind when you’re stressed, overwhelmed or under pressure:

  • Vetiver
  • Patchouli
  • Cedarwood
  • Sandalwood
  • Frankincense
  • Myrrh
  • Spruce
  • Fir
  • Cypress

Create your own blend by adding between 5 to 10 drops of these oils to a diffuser or dilute them with a carrier oil for topical use. If you want a bit of extra sweetness, add a couple drops of floral oil (like rose or jasmine). Once you’ve chosen your favorite aromas, diffuse the blend or apply it on your hands before playing one of our guided meditations or after a grounding yoga sequence.
