The weather is getting warmer, and iced drinks never tasted so good. Infused water is my go-to drink this time of year–not only is it tasty, but it encourages me to stay hydrated. Keeping hydrated is one of the most important things that you can do for your body. Your mood, energy levels, metabolism, and immune function all depend on adequate water consumption.

Here are my personal favorite infusions.

Spa Infusion for Detoxication: Cucumber Lemon Mint Rosemary

How to:

  • Place 3–4 sprigs of mint and 2–3 sprigs of rosemary in a large pitcher of water and let it steep overnight in the fridge. You can also crush the sprigs if you’re in a hurry.
  • Add the juice of half a lemon.
  • Add thin slices of one medium cucumber and half of a lemon.
  • Allow to sit in the fridge for an additional 2 hours.

Potential Benefits: Lemon and cucumber promote detoxication and healthy digestion while mint and rosemary have potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Purple Zinger for Digestive Discomfort: Lavender Lemon Blueberry Ginger
